Marian Rivera gets busy with flower shop
Actress Marian Rivera thanked her clients for patronizing her preserved flower arrangements which are almost sold out now.
"I humbly thank you for the prayers, encouragement, patience, understanding and support to fulfill my dream of owning a flower shop. Salamat sa inspirasyon na nakukuha ko sa mga nakapaligid at naniniwala sa akin," said Rivera on Instagram as her flower shop Flora Vida made its soft opening recently.
Rivera thanked her husband actor Dingdong Dantes who gave her the flower shop business.
"Thank you to my husband for helping me make this dream business of mine a reality. Love you Mahal. Thank you so much for patronizing Flora Vida by Marian;"
"Our flower arrangements (name of provinces and color in Spanish) are almost sold out. For available arrangements (all in square vases), please email me at FloraVidaByMarian@gmail.com @floravidabymarian," Rivera also said on Instagram.
Rivera said that she accepted orders from April 18-28 and they were available for pick-up on April 29 at the shop's office in Quezon City.
The actress said that she will resume accepting orders on May 17.
Rivera said that Flora Vida by Marian is an online flower shop specializing in preserved flower arrangements.
"I personally prepared and designed all flower arrangements. Flora Vida by Marian uses 100 percent naturally preserved flowers," she said.
Rivera said that photos of the types of flower arrangements can be seen in the @floravidabymarian instagram account.
She said that with proper care, the preserved flower arrangement can last for 2 years.
Rivera gave instructions on how to care for the preserved flowers.
* Place the flower arrangement in a cool place
* Avoid contact with water
* Avoid exposure to direct heat and sunlight
* Avoid high humidity environment.
In March, Rivera took flower arrangements lesson in Japan.
Rivera also said that she is hands-on with her flower shop business.
“’Yung gagawin kong arrangements, ako mismo ang gagawa. Walang ibang taong gagawa nito. Secret pa ang concept, pero ako lahat — ang magde-design, mamimili ng kulay, gagawa ng arrangement. Ako lahat," said the actress in an interview on GMA News recently. - ROBERT REQUINTINA/TEMPO
