Chris Dulagan is ready to rumble in Man of the World
Police Inspector Christopher "Chris" C. Dulagan is all set to compete in the first Man of the World contest which will be held in the Philippines on July 29.
I will represent the whole Igorots, the whole Cordillera and the whole Philippines," said Dulagan in an interview on ABS-CBN News.
Dulagan also said that joining an international male pageant would help him uplift the image of the Igorots.
And I'm proud to say na isa akong Igorot," he said.
Former Mister International Neil Perez said that he is hopeful that Dulagan will win the international title.
So walang problema 'yan kay Sir Chris. Naniniwala ako na makukuha n'ya yung title na Man of the World," Perez said.
Renz Lou Lagria, a member of the Panagbenga Hotties, said that Dulagan has inspired fellow Igorots to do good in their endeavors.
Dulagan also said that he is praying that the finals of the male contest will be held in Baguio City instead of Negros Occidental.
Around 44 male candidates from around the world are expected to take part in the debut of the international male contest.
The Man of the World is a new international pageant that promotes education with touching base on career development.
This competition is created by Prime Event Production Philippines Foundation, Inc. (PEPPS) which has a vast experience in organizing and producing world-class pageants in the country.
"The advocacy that the winners (and even candidates) shall embark on is to become an example of masculinity with responsibility - through partnerships with different educational institutions and systems to promote the value of education and career development," said PEPPS president Carlo Morris. - ROBERT R.
