PEPPS launches 4 major events for 2017

Prime Events Productions Philippines Foundation, Inc. (PEPPS) launched four major events for 2017 at the House Manila of Remington Hotel, Resorts World Manila last March 8.

Dubbed "Kickstart: The 2017 PEPPS Trade Launch," the successful program unveiled four major events that will be produced by the organization this year - Philippine Pageant Ball, Man of the World, Misters of Filipinas and Halloween Horror House.

"This is a milestone for our organization and I'm proud of what we have done so far," said PEPPS  president Carlo Morris Galang. "It's really something for everyone to look forward to because the four events are really something to be excited about."

The Philippine Pageant Ball will gather Philippine pageantry's luminaries in one venue to celebrate the achievements of the country.

"This is really a milestone. We are making history because we haven't really had a major avenue for all the pageants to be celebrated," said JP Anonuevo, the events project head.

It will be held at One Esplanade in Pasay City on May 13.

Misters of Filipinas is the most prestigious male pageant in the country today. The screening of candidates will be held in June.

"The screening for Misters of Filipinas 2017 is scheduled earlier than the usual because we would want all the candidates to be present during the coronation of Man of the World 2017," said PEPPS Vice President Jhune Salud.

The finals night of Misters of Filipinas will be held on Sept. 2.

The Man of the World 2017 pageant will see 40 to 50 good-looking men competing for the title.

"Man of the World competition promises something new in male pageantry. We will have a series of activities that are driven on showing our candidate's positive attributes," Galang said.

The inaugural coronation is scheduled on July 29.

The Halloween Horror House is a unique walk-through experience that promises the ultimate thrill this coming Halloween. The indoor event is scheduled at One Esplanade from Oct. 30 to Nov. 2.
