Sunshine Dizon gives advice to women left by partners
Actress Sunshine Dizon has given her unsolicited advice to women whose partners have left them for another woman, as what she experiences in her role in the popular afternoon drama "Ika-6 Na Utos" on GMA 7.
In a scene that trended on Valentine's Day, Dizon who plays the role of Emma, showed her in a catfight with Ryza Cenon, who plays the role of the other woman named Georgia.
Asked about the overwhelming reaction of her fans to the scene, Dizon said: "Masaya po ako at sulit po talaga ang lahat ng pagod."
Dizon believes that many women could relate to her role in the afternoon series. But she cautioned them about fighting with the other woman all the time.
"Hindi naman kailangan nating makipag-away all the time. Instead of dwelling on whatever your'e going through, use that time to improve yourself," the actress said, during an interview on "24 Oras" news program on the Kapuso network recently.
Cenon, 29, also said that she continues hate messages for her role as a mistress.
"Yung iba na-me-mersonal na talaga. Sana mangyari 'yan sa'yo sa tutoong buhay sana lokohin ka ng boyfriend mo ganyan. Yung iba naman nagsasabing 'wag kang magpapakita sasabuhayan kita ng asido sa mukha," Cenon also said.
But Cenon said that she and Dizon are in good terms despite the many confrontation scenes in the teleserye which also stars Gabby Concepcion as the husband torn between Dizon and Cenon.
"Gina-guide naman n'ya ako kapag meron akong dapat baguhin or kailangang ganito ang dapat mong gawin, Kapag may fight scene tinuturuan n'ya ako para hindi kami magkasakitan," Cenon said.
Dizon, 33, invited televiewers to tune-in as she becomes a fighter in the TV series.
"Nangako na si Emma na kung ano ang ginawa ni Georgia sa kanya e s'ya n'yang ibabalik," she added. - Robert Requintina/TEMPO
