Piolo confesses love for Shaina

Actor Piolo Pascual has confessed his love for actress Shaina Magdayao but continued to refuse to put a label to their relationship.

"Oo naman," said Pascual when asked if he loves Magdayao during an interview on "Tonight With Boy Abunda" on ABS CBN.

Pascual repeated his answer two more times. But he pointed out that there is still no label to their relationship.

"Yung nga ang mahirap kasi you don't want the people to take it wrongly or look at it in a way na dehado yung babae or bakit walang labels," the actor said.

"Let's just put it this way. Shaina and I have a mutual understanding na hindi namin alam kung paano ipaiintindi sa tao but what we have is something really special and mahirap kasi nga pareho kaming public figure. So we decided na wag na lang magsalita," he added.

"Whatever we have it, is what we have, it is what it is. We're happy about it," Pascual said.

The Kapamilya hunk, however, admitted that he would be affected if he would find out that Magdayao dated another guy these days.

"Of course. Sana alam ko di ba? I wanna know baka mamaya hearsay lang," Pascual said.

Both Pascual and Magdayao have previously said that they can go out on dates with different persons despite dating for five years now.

Pascual also reacted to the comment of actress Vina Morales who said that she likes him for her younger sister.

"My family as well," the actor said.

Pascual, 40, also said that he wanted to get married soon.

"Of course. I want to," he said when asked if would every marry.

Asked how rich he is, Pascual said: "Let's put it this way. I'm comfortable. Masaya ako sa trabaho ko and happy where I am."

Pascual added that he could retire tomorrow and support his family instead.

"Yeah! Simpleng tao lang ako. I've never changed my lifestyle. Wala akong luxury hindi ako maluho," said Pascual, who will star in the new film "Northern Lights: A Journey to Love." - Robert Requintina/TEMPO
