Vina OKs Piolo-Shaina relationship

Actress-singer Vina Morales has said that she approves her younger sister's relationship with actor Piolo Pascual.

"Si Shaina (Magdayao) kasi napakamalihim n'yan sa aming pamilya. She's very quiet when it comes to her personal life," said Morales, during an interview on "Tonight With Boy Abunda" on ABS-CBN.

"Minsan nagtatanong kami ng paganyan lang pero hindi nakakalusot. Kasi nakikita ko sa every celebration n'ya or if there's an event about her, talagang andun si Piolo and the family," Morales said

"Kung papano kasi nila tinatrato si Shaina, also Piolo, nakikita ko kung paano n'ya tinatrato si Shaina with respect talaga," she added.

"I don't really mind if mapunta 'yun sa pag-i-ibigan talaga o kung seryoso but ako naman, I'm wishing them the bes Kung saan naman sila masaya okay lang ako," Morales said.

Pascual and Magdayao have admitted going out together for several years now but they refused to label their relationship.

The actress said that she was really surprised when she learned that Magdayao and Pascual have been going out together for five years now.

Morales also said that she keeps herself fit all the time, adding that she's more confident now of showing more skin.

"It started when I was training in preparation for my concert. Talagang I worked out a lot. Gusto kong maging fit just for the concert. And then nung nakita ko naman yung outcome, sabi ko itutuloy-tuloy ko na ito. Sa ngayon I have confidence to show more skin," she said.

Morales, 41, also promoted her latest CD called "Vina 30" with the lead single "Lagay ng Puso" in the late-night talk show.

She said that what excites her most was her duet with her daughter Ceana in the song "Pag-Ibig na Walang Hanggan."

"First time ko maka-duet ang anak ko," the Cebuana star said.

Asked if love has stayed, Morales said: "Yes! Oo naman!" - Robert Requintina/TEMPO
