Kathryn OKs Daniel to star with Sarah G.
Kapamilya Teen Queen Kathryn Bernardo has given the go-signal for her rumored boyfriend Daniel Padilla to work with Sarah Geronimo.
Bernardo was reacting to a statement of Padilla who said that he wanted to work with Geronimo in future projects.
"Napanood ko yung sinabi nya. Ako rin gusto kong maka-work si Ate Sarah. I'm a big fan. Kung magkakaroon siguro sila ng project together in the future with or without me support na lang natin kasi gusto n'ya yun. Big fan ako ni Ate Sarah," said Bernardo, during an interview on "Tonight With Boy Abunda" on ABS-CBN recently.
Bernardo also said that she wanted to work with other Kapamilya leading men.
Asked about the male stars she wanted to work with, Bernardo said: "Of course Mr. John Lloyd Cruz. Papa P. (Piolo Pascual) also and Mr. Jericho Rosales. I'm very open kung sino ang i-pair basta alam mo yung maga-guide ako and marami pa akong matutunan sa taong yun."
Like any other partners in show business, the tandem of KathNiel has refused to put a label to their relationship.
In April 2016, Padilla commented on the real status of his relationship with Bernardo.
"Alam nyo, ang masasabi ko lang para sa amin ni Kathryn, action speaks louder than words," said Padilla, during an appearance in the Kapamilya morning show "Magandang Buhay" on ABS-CBN.
"Simula nung magsimula kami ni Kathryn hanggang ngayon, wala akong masasabi kundi salamat dahil ang sarap. Ang sarap na partner mo ang kasama mo sa success. So wala na akong mahihiling kung hindi yun na yon," Padilla told Bernardo.
Bernardo and Padilla will soon be seen in the new film "Can't Help Falling in Love," their 8th movie together.
KathNiel first appeared on "24/7 in Love" in 2012. The same year, they starred in the hit movie "Sisterakas."
Their third film was "Must Be...Love" shown in 2013 while their fourth movie was "Pagpag (Syam Na Buhay)" shown the same year.
In 2014, KathNiel did "She's Dating the Gangster" and "Crazy Beautiful You" in 2015. They were also paired off in "Barcelona" in 2016.
They are set to star in the new Kapamilya teleserye "La Luna Sangre." Robert Requintina/TEMPO
