Jerome Ponce on Mika Reyes: 'I spend time with her'
Kapamilya young actor Jerome Ponce has said that time is the best thing he could give to his girlfriend volleyball star Mika Reyes.
"Nagustuhan n'ya sa akin? Siguro time. I spend time with her. 'Yun lang ang maibibigay ko sa kanya," said Ponce during an interview on "Tonight With Boy Abunda" on ABS-CBN.
"Meron po kasi akong pananaw na kung gusto mo, magagawan mo ng paraan. Pero kung hindi talaga kaya, maiintidihan n'ya 'yun," Ponce said.
Ponce has said that he is happy about his relationship with Reyes. "Hindi ko naman kailangang I-deny. It's a yes!"
Asked what he does not like about Reyes, Ponce laughed and said: "Ang ayaw ko sa kanya, bakit ganito parang nababaliw ako sa kanya?"
Ponce said that he met the De La Salle Lady Spiker through common friends when she guested on "ASAP."
“Nag-get along kami with friends. She’s really nice nung na-meet ko na, lalo na nung nanonood ako ng games nila," he said then during an interview on ABS-CBN.
Ponce, 21, said that he is still into computer games and his girlfriend doesn't mind it.
"Hindi mahilig sa computer games si Mika but naiintindihan naman n'ya dahil 'yun ang kinasanayan ko before," he said.
Ponce rose to fame when he was cast in the hit Kapamilya morning teleserye "Be Careful With My Heart" starring Richard Yap and Jodie Sta. Maria.
When asked if he is still in contact with the other members of the cast, Ponce said: "Kami ni Janella (Salvador) nagkikita kami madalas dito sa 'ASAP.' Kinukumusta ko s'ya, family n'ya, family family ko. Kwentuhan kami."
"Si Ate Jodie (Sta. Maria) sobnrang hectic ng sked nya, Pag nagkikita kami sa 'ASAP,' talagang titigil yan. Ganun 'yung bonding namin kapag nagkikita kami," Ponce added.
Ponce will soon be seen in the new Star Cinema film "The Ghost Bride." - Robert Requintina/TEMPO
