Gabriel Barcenilla to front act for K Camp, Shordie Shordie



Everything's coming up roses for Spotify streaming Prince Filipino-American Gabriel Barcenilla as he will open again for musical acts K Camp (Interscope) and Shordie Shordie (Warner Records) in Arizona on Oct. 31.

Just last Sept. 20, Gabriel was the front act for Journey frontman Arnel Pineda at the Celebrity Theater.

Gabriel Lee Barcenilla was born in Mandaluyong City on Nov. 12, 1992. Did you know that his parents were recruited by the US because of their special achievements?

Gabriel's dad is Rogelio P. Barcenilla Jr., a renowned Chess grandmaster when Eugene Torre was battling it out with the Gary Kasparov, Anatoly Karpov, Bobby Fischer and other world Chess champions.

His mom, Lilibeth Lee, was also a Chess Olympian.


Gabriel excels in the creation of millennial's music. What he needs now is the support of his countrymen to break into the mainstream of recording and composing. He created and composed his own music that is being streamed in Spotify.

His song "Timeless" has already garnered 850,000 streams. It was featured at stereostickman.com. After "Timeless," other songs followed. There's "UNO," followed by "Rambo," "Bittersweet" (that was part of the soundtrack of the Netflix movie "EXPO") and "Fallen" (which has been streamed 600,000 times in Spotify).

Gabriel is fast becoming's Spotify's streaming "prince" after he was chosen as the front act for mainstream international acts.
