Miss Philippines 2019 Grand Coronation set in November



Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Miss Philippines 2019 beauty pageant originally scheduled on October 13 has been moved to November 2019.

This was announced by Miss Philippines Foundation Inc. (MPFI) President Victor Torre who also assured the candidates, sponsors, handlers, and pageant fans that the national beauty pageant will be staged in a new venue and a new date.

"Due to some unforeseen circumstances, the Miss Philippines Grand Coronation Night originally scheduled on October 13, 2019 at the Resorts World Manila will be moved to November 2019. A new venue will be chosen and a specific date will be advised later," said Torre in a statement released on Oct. 12.

"We apologized for any inconvenience caused by this change of schedule. MPFI wishes to make this event a resounding success hence, we are doing the best we can to make everything in order," Torre also said.

Thirty-six girls are competing in this year's Miss Philippines beauty pageant.

Torre also said that all concerns related to Miss Philippines 2019 beauty pageant shall be coursed through him.

All instructions and advices pertaining to MPFI operations and activities will be coming from Torre and or its Vice President Gigi Cabato.

"We enjoin all candidates, parents, guardians, and handlers for your utmost cooperation to make our Grand Coronation Night a remarkable one," said Torre.

The Miss Philippines 2019 pageant focuses not only on beauty, talent and intelligence of Filipino women but also aims to promote culture, arts, and tradition.

Torre said that the pageant showcases both the unique beauty of a Filipina and the diversity of the Philippine regions socio-cultural heritage.

"We will select talented and lovely Filipinas from all over the country who will represent the different cities and municipalities who will come together to share for a common purpose,"  Torre  said.

Torre also said that the staging of Miss Philippines pageant is in response to the government's call for the promotion of tourism, culture, and the art among Filipinos.

"The Miss Philippines pageant is a great platform where candidates can better prepare themselves for international beauty pageants," he said.
