CWC Interiors turns into furniture bar bistro

Maybe you've seen a lot of furniture showrooms elsewhere.

But perhaps you haven't been to a furniture bistro bar, a showroom that has a restaurant or an events place where you can hold musical shows or personal parties.

That's what CWC Interiors has become when it transferred and opened its bistro bar to public located at GF Milestone Bldg 5th Avenue corner Rizal Drive, Bonifacio Global Drive, Taguig City last October 8.

"I think this is the first in world. You can't find anything like this anywhere," said Fred Yuson, also chairperson of Mutya Pilipinas.

"It's a new building. From 200 sq meters, we transferred to a 700 square meters space. You can see here residential retail showroom furniture. This will cater to residential and retail market," said Yuson.

He added: "Usually the showroom is just a passing place. Walang masyadong tao. So we thought of having Chef Jessie so that we will have a regular restaurant.

The furniture bistro bar is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.daily. "We will have a regular restaurant here and it is open for events. You can hire bands, DJs, so that it will become an events place."

On Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, there will be musical bands. Come Saturday, we will have a disc jockey.

Yuson said clients can see here like 100 designers from around the world.

"So we're bringing in modern and bit of classics. Local designs are now globally accepted. It's parallel to everyone in the world," he said. "Most of these brands have Asian production. So now its affordable."

Yuson said that they expect to come up with Filipino designs on furniture.

"We will come up with the first Filipino design furniture that is at par with global standards. We will put the Philippines in the furniture map," he said.
