Could Binibini Emma Mary F. Tiglao be the next Filipina to capture the Miss Intercontinental crown?

Pop News Philippines caught up with Emma at Midori Clark Casino and Hotel in Pampanga where this stunning beauty queen was given a rousing send away party by her family, friends, and supporters.

Emma, who just turned 25 last Dec. 8, promises Filipino pageant fans to give a good fight in the Miss Intercontinental pageant in Egypt on Dec. 20.

"Ten years in the making. Mas mahirap mag-antay ng 10 years kaya ibibigay ko po ang aking lahat sa Miss Intercontinental. Walang minor pageants. Lahat iyan may purpose. I'm gonna give you a good fight. I am gonna stand there tall and proud and shout Philippines!"

Favorite thing about being a beauty queen - "I meet a lot of people. If you meet many people, you will hear different stories and learn from their experiences."

If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? - "Basta sweets. Any sweet food. I'm a sweet tooth person. I love dark chocolates with mint."

Favorite song- "Ang dami. Madalas nakikinig ako ng mga Hillsong church songs. Inspirational songs."


What's a perfect day for you like - "When I am with my family. Pupunta kami sa beach. Simpleng kuwentuhan lang."

Can you live without the Internet? - "I can. Sometimes naiiwan ko iyong phone sa bahay namin pero ok lang. Kasi when I am enjoying an event, ine-enjoy ko talaga 'yun."

Do you cook? - "Medyo delikado tayo diyan. hahaha! Mas mahilig akong tumikim ng food kesa magluto."


Burger or tacos - "Burgers."

Money or fame - "More on fame kasi money madali mong ma-earn iyan. Yung fame magagamit mo siya as platform."

Warm or cold - "Warm. Ayoko ng malamig na Pasko. haha."


Classic or modern - "Classic."

Coffee of tea - "Coffee."

Call or text - "Call ako. Sobrang tamad ako mag-text. Sometimes when I need to communicate with my best friends, I do voice message. And I love to talk!" - Robert Requintina
