Sharon Cuneta joins campaign for animal welfare

Many famous actors, musicians and athletes fight for animals rights. They include Justin Bieber, George Clooney, Miley Cyrus, Natalie Portman, Sandra Bullock, and Ryan Gosling who have gone to animal shelters to adopt pets.

In the Philippines, megastar Sharon Cuneta is one of the celebrities who care deeply for animal welfare.

Cuneta has been tapped by the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) as the latest spokesperson on pet adoption.

"The Philippine Animal Welfare Society rescues abused dogs and cats. Please adopt and don’t shop. Aspins and Puspins are highly intelligent and loyal creatures. They will give you love and companionship if you just love them and take good care of them. Thank you so much! God bless you," said Cuneta on Facebook July 13.

Also, PETSTER.ph, the newest online portal for pet lovers, has partnered with PAWS in helping provide much-needed funds for the shelter animals during this covid pandemic.

Visit www.petster.ph to learn helpful tips on pet care, read interesting features about dogs & cats, get to know this week’s featured adoptable animals (which includes cute Seeberger from the PAWS cattery) and shop in their curated marketplace for healthy and pet-friendly products.

Twenty-five percent of net profits from the site will go to the care and rehabilitation of the rescued animals at the PAWS Animal Shelter so we hope you can check it out! #ShopToHelp 🐶❤️🐱

PAWS is located on Aurora Boulevard in Quezon City. For details, contact PAWS at 284751688. - Robert Requintina
