Shiela DeForest among celebrity judges at Miss Earth USA 2020

Filipino beauty queen reigning Mrs. Eco International Shiela DeForest has been selected as one of the judges for Miss Earth USA 2020 beauty pageant in August.


"Thank you for the honor of being in your judging panel for Miss Earth USA 2020 this August, official national preliminary to Miss Earth!" said Shiela on Facebook. "A year ago, this wouldn’t have been possible. I am truly humbled to be in such an esteemed panel of judges."


Other members of the judging panel are: Bill Alverson, producer of "Insatiable" on Netflix; Candiace Dillard, cast member, "Real Housewives" on Bravo; Thom Brodeur, President, Queen Beauty Universe; Kimberly Pixton Millar, owner, Pixton Design Group; Runway Judge: Nellys Pimentel, Reigning Miss Earth; Gown Judge: Emanii Davis, Reigning Miss Earth Air; and Swimwear Judge: Stephen P. Smith, owner, HOTWORX.


The winner will represent the US at the Miss Earth 2020 beauty pageant which will hold its virtual competition later this year.


Shiela is a philanthropist, sustainable fashion advocate and successful pageant queen. 


Earlier this year, she was named a finalist for the 2020 Unsung Heroine Award by her home county in Colorado. She only began to explore pageantry two years ago, quickly winning the Mrs. Philippines title and then Eco International Mrs. 2019.


Since the age of 18, Sheila has modeled for local and international brands in the Philippines, Singapore, Canada, China, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Los Angeles, Denver and New York. 


Shiela is an avid traveler, having been to 56 countries supporting environmental activities. When she is not traveling or advocating, she enjoys nature activities with her husband, Tim, in Colorado - Robert Requintina

Megastar Sharon Cuneta has complained about the construction of her neighbor's condominium unit, saying that it brought stress to her family.
