CNG, PEPPS promote self-sufficiency in pageants

Two groups have joined forces to promote self-sufficiency through pageantry across the Philippines, starting in the Zamboanga Peninsula. This was announced by Emerilyn Suya, of Contact Network Group (CNG) who has tied tied up with Prime Events Productions Philippines, Inc. (PEPPS) led by Carlo Morris Galang, during a press event held at Alchemy Bistro Bar in Makati City last Feb. 24. "We have been doing charity events in Metro Manila and the in provinces with CNG. Our latest charity mission would involve the Man of the World contest which will be held in the Philippines later this year," said Galang. Suya said that her current charity program is focused in Mindanao where they want to provide the resources to educate the locals in the handicraft arts. "In doing so, local villagers will be closer to a state of self-sufficiency, earning for themselves, their families, and their livelihoods," she said. Vietnamese model is Man of the World 2018

A fashion model from Vietnam was crowned Man of the World 2018 during a pageant held at FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan, Metro Manila Saturday night, July 14. Crowd favorite Cao Xuan Tai of Vietnam edged out 26 other candidates from around the world in the contest that highlights masculinity and responsibility. Philippine Clint Karklins Peralta, a registered nurse, was named 1st runner up. Other winners were Malta, 2nd runner-up; Czech Republic, 3rd runner-up, and Thailand, 4th runner-up. Some of the most gorgeous men in the world have arrived in Manila to compete at the 2nd annual Man of the World pageant which will be held in San Juan City on July 14. Man of the World has sweet message for the youth

"Just follow your dreams!" This is one of the inspiring words of newly crowned Man of the World Mustafa Galal Elezali of Egypt when sought to give a message for the youth during his victory party at Icon Hotel in Quezon City recently. "Stay with positive people, not with negative people. "Stay away from drugs, stay away from smoking. "Just trust yourself, dream big and work hard," said Mustafa, who is into fitness and boxing. The Egyptian hunk has signed a contract for one-year-and-a-half with Prime Events Productions Philippines Foundation Inc. (PEPPS) under Carlo Morris Galang as part of his prize package for Man of the World. Galang also said that there was an offer for PEPPS to stage the second Man of the World contest abroad next year. Egypt model is 2017 Man of the World

A 26-year-old model from Egypt was crowned Man of the World during the first pageant held at Esplanade One in Pasay City last Friday, July 28. Crowd favorite Mustafa Galal Elizali, 26, edged out 27 other male candidates from around the world in the contest which advocates masculinity with responsibility. First runner-up was Nguyen Huu Long of Vietnam while Abou Sahyoun Wasslim of Palestine won 2nd runner-up. Other candidates who finished in the top 5 are delegates from Moldova and Guam. During the question and answer portion, the top three candidates were asked a common question "Why should you win Man of the World 2017?" Mustafa repliied: "If given the chance to be Man of the World, he has to be man of his word. Three keys for Man of the World - being humble, simple and believe in himself. Meet this year's candidates for Man of the World contest

Twenty-eight of the most gorgeous men in the world have converged in Manila to compete in the inaugural Man of the World 2017 pageant. "This is just exciting. This was once a dream of ours to create an international pageant that can hold its own on a wider global platform following the success of Misters of Filipinas. Now it's a reality," said PEPPS President Carlo Morris Galang, during press presentation held at Icon Hotel on EDSA-North Avenue in Quezon City. The pageant aims to select the best man for the advocacy of spreading educational awareness by forging partnerships with schools and promoting tourism. The education ambassadors from different countries will take part in various activities both here in Manila and in the provinces such as Negros Oriental.
