Villar invites OFWs to join summit

Sen. Cynthia Villar invited overseas Filipino workers who are in the country, as well as their families, to attend the 9th Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and Family Summit at Hall D of the World Trade Center on Tuesday, Nov. 12.

During a press conference held at Tramway Bayview Buffet in Pasay City, Villar, director of the Villar Social Institute for Poverty Alleviation and Governance (Villar SIPAG), said the annual event has become a one-stop shop for OFWs where they learn from experts on matters relevant to them such as financial literacy and government assistance.

Fellow OFW supporter Toots Ople of the Blas Ople Training Center joined Villar in the press event.
