Villar hails tech-voc institutions

Sen. Cynthia A. Villar has cited the importance of tech-voc education and other forms of education in the country’s development.

Speaking at the 1st Manila Tech-Voc Educators and Students Summit, Villar said many of those who finished tech-voc courses have become the so-called “movers, shakers and decision makers” in various fields of endeavors.

The senator was the guest speaker in the event sponsored by TESDA Manila District with the Association of Technical Schools Manila, Inc. (ATSMI) held at the Lyceum University of the Philippines.

During her term in Congress, the senator said she had passed 28 bills promoting quality and advanced system of education.
