Sunshine Cruz, daughters newest celebrity endorsers of EM-CORE DOTNET

Versatile dramatic actress Sunshine Cruz has said that her three daughters can join beauty pageants and other showbiz-related activities as long as they finish school first.

"I always tell them huwag pababayaan ang school. Puwede silang sumali sa beauty pageants or mag-join sa show business basta huwag lamang nilang pababayaan ang pag-aaral," said Cruz after she signed up as brand ambassadors of EM-CORE DOTNET, one of the country's premier direct-marketing companies specializing is nutraceuticals and other health and wellness products, during a press conference held in Morato, Quezon City Nov. 20.

Her daughters Angelina, Samantha and Chesca have also been chosen as celebrity endorsers for two of the company's flagship products.

Also in attendance at the contract signing were Miss and Mister World Philippines national director Arnold Vegafria, of ALV Talent Circuit; EM-CORE DOTNET President Sheryll Edman; and the firm's finance officer Rey Panaligan.


Asked how she takes care of her daughters' money, Cruz said: "Direcho bangko ang mga kita nila sa endorsements. Kaya ko pa naman sila suportahan, so far so good."

"I always tell them if they have money, itago muna nila iyan. Para darating ang panahon kapag gusto nilang bumili ng car for themselves, may pambili sila. At least galing sa sarili nilang pera," she said.

"Sa ngayon ang nahihiligan nila ay kumain lang at manood ng movies. Yung mga material na bagay wala pa naman, simple lang naman ang mga anak ko," the actress also said.

"Lagi ninyong unahin ang needs at kung may extra tayo, that's the time na bibili tayo ng mga wants natin. Pero laging needs muna. Palagay ko I've trained them well at naiintindihan nila yun." Cruz added.


Cruz also said that she's happy her daughter Angelina passed the auditions for ABS CBN and she will do a movie under the broadcast network soon.

Angelina has also just released her self-titled EP under Universal Records and is also a Bench endorser. Her younger sisters Sam and Chesca are still finishing their studies at La Salle Zobel.

"Nakaka-tense na puwede ng ligawan ang anak ko but I trust her. Hindi naman natin mai-aalis na may pumoporma," Cruz said.

On her Christmas wish, Cruz said: "Ang Christmas wish ko sa kanila ay maging healthy sila at magmahalan sila. Siyempre mahalin din nila ang nanay nila at papakinggan nila lagi ang nanay nila kasi wala namang ina na gustong mapasama ang mga anak nila." (Robert R. Requintina)
