All is set for the staging of 13th Mister International pageant in the Philippines from Feb. 18-24, organizers announced last February 5. The prestigious male competition was supposed to be held in Las Vegas, Nevada in the US. But due to time constraints, it will be held again in the Philippines second time around. Prime Event Productions Philippines Foundation (PEPPS) President Carlo Morris Galang said that more than 40 candidates will arrive in Manila starting February 14. Then they will travel around Metro Manila and Northern Philippines to explore the most exciting places in the country. The 2nd Miss Philippines pageant was launched as it searches for new Filipinas who can be responsible leaders someday. Miss Philippines Foundation, Inc. President Francisco Z. Blanco Jr. says that the pageant aims to bring together Filipinas across Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao while showcasing their innate beauty, culture, talent and intelligence. Four titles are at stake as the winners of Miss Philippines 2018 will compete in international pageants soon. They are Miss National Universe, Miss Princess of the World-Philippines, Miss Queen and Beauty Universe, and Miss Tourism Queen International-Philippines. Blanco also says that the national beauty pageant hopes to gather 81 candidates from all the provinces in the country. "We want someone who has a strong personality.
