It seems like the Miss World Philippines beauty contest is living up to its new title as pageant of the stars. This after three showbiz personalities enlisted for the screening of Miss World Philippines 2019 beauty pageant. Now under the helm of talent manager Arnold Vegafria, the past years saw upcoming movie and television stars screened for the Miss World Philippines contest and successfully made it. Actress Megan Lynne Young represented the Philippines in Miss World 2013 and went on to become the first Filipina to win the elusive blue crown. Actress Teresita 'Winwyn" Marquez, daughter of showbiz personalities Alma Moreno and Joey Marquez, notched the country's first Reina Hispanoamericana crown in Bolivia in 2017. Alyssa Muhlach, daughter of Almira Muhlach and former PBA star Bong Alvarez, also competed in Reina Hispanoamericana pageant in 2018.
