Popular Filipino haute couture designer Arielle Agasang is set to make another splash in the fashion world as he will showcase his latest collection in "Ako ay Filipino" charity gala which will be held at the Centennial Ballroom of the historic Manila Hotel on June 13. At the press preview held at the Sampaguita Room of the Manila Hotel last Feb. 27, Agasang said that the event will also pay tribute to the most influential personalities of the year. Agasang said that the event aims to raise funds for the reconstruction and improvement of the infrastructure, service facilities and other sacred spaces of Our Lady of Assumption Parish in Lavezares, Northern Samar. The pre-pageant show for the Miss Asia Pacific International 2018 beauty pageant kicked off with colorful traditions and culture as 50 candidates paraded in their national costumes at  Conrad luxury hotel in Pasay City Sept. 18. Miss Panama Kilmara Nayubel Carvajal was named Best in National Costume. Actor Tonton Gutierrez has been in local show business since the 80s but there's one role which he still dreams of portraying one of these days. From rugged to formal, popular fashion designer Arielle Agasang gave a preview of his latest designs during a fashion show held at the Fisher Mall in Quezon City last June 5. The runway show was participated in by students of Primo Modelo, a modelling agency which honed and develop young aspiring models to become professionals and skilled runway, print ads, and commercials models. Also joining the event were designers Gusi Guillaran, Nikki Veneracion and Kim Montecarlo. The fashion show also marked the debut of Aneeka Gutierrez, 6, daughter of award-winning actors Tonton Gutierrez and Glydel Mercado, on the runway.
