Face of Beauty Int'l 2019 set in PH

The Philippines will play host to an international beauty pageant which aims to stop violence against women. This was announced by Mila Manuel, president of Face of Beauty International pageant, during a press conference held at El Calle Restaurant of Resorts World Manila in Pasay City recently. "The pageant is part of the I Am Me campaign which empowers and encourages the contestants to participate in activities that help alleviate social injustice," said Manuel. The I Am Me campaign is the heart of the pageant's humanitarian effort. It centers on social issues that are plaguing the host country. She added: "We are all about empowering women, celebrating cultures, and turning particular participants into icons of goodwill and vessels for social change."
