Celebrity-dentist invited as keynote speaker in Spain's oral health confab

Celebrity-dentist Dr. Mario F. Guiang Jr. has been invited as keynote speaker in the upcoming "International Conference on Oral Health and Dentistry" in Barcelona, Spain on Sept. 21-22. The theme of "Oral Health 2020" conference is "Observing, understanding and forecasting the art and science of Oral Health." Oral Health 2020 is a multi-year effort to strengthen and unify the oral health network to make systems changes and improve oral health for all. Its partners are aligned around a set of aggressive goals and specific targets to be achieved by the year 2020. Dr. Guiang has been making a stand to eliminate illegal practice of dentistry especially now that do-it-yourself (DIY) braces are vastly sold online. New celebrity dentist loves art of tattoo

Celebrity dentist Dr. Mario Guiang Jr. is a big fan of tattoo and he wants the whole world to know that there's nothing wrong with it. "I want to get away with the stereotype that tattoo is for criminals. We've been used to reading stories or watching movies with criminals having lots of tattoos. Tattoo is an art," said Guiang, during an exclusive interview in Timog recently. Guiang, a fitness and health buff, wears a tattoo on his right biceps in Samoan style. There's an eagle and dragon icons on his black tattoo. "The eagle is inspired by my travels. I love to travel around the world. And when you fly, you aim high! I have so many dreams and visions. On the other hand, the dragon is an ally of rat. In feng shui, my animal sign is rat," said Guiang, who praises artist Jerard Cayabyab Martinez of Tarlac for his tattoo.
