'Jewel' bets bare plans if they become Philippine president
Eighteen official candidates of the 2018 Jewel of the Philippines (JOP) beauty pageant were formally presented to the members of the media, pageant sponsors and invited guests at the Skydeck Hall of Madison 101 Hotel and Tower in New Manila, Quezon City last Oct. 18. This year’s line-up of candidates include beauties from provinces and cities as far as Bukidnon, Misamis, Camarines Norte, Northern Samar, Ilagan City and Nueva Vizcaya. This batch is composed of university students, local pageant winners, a university professor and four candidates of the recent Miss World Philippines contest.
