Pageant expert gives wishes to 'Kagandahang Flores' queens

Pageant guru Rodgil Flores says the Kagandahang Flores beauty camp will continue to innovate and upgrade its training skills for girls in a bid to win more pageant crowns here and abroad. Rival Filipino beauty camps unite to help fight HIV/AIDS

The country's two rival beauty camps - Kagandahang Flores and Aces and Queens - have joined forces to help the Department of Health (DoH) in the new renewed fight against human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) which causes acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS). Samantha Iris Libo-on Ricalde is set to conquer the international fashion scene as she represents the Philippines in the Face of Beauty International contest in New Delhi, India from September 13-25. Ricalde, 15, is a Grade 10 students at Angelicum College. Earlier, this teen from Binan, Laguna who stands 5'8 won the Circle of 10- Walk To Fame contest. Friends know Ricalde as cheerful, thoughtful and approachable. Ricalde also loves volleyball and reading books. Miss World Philippines 2017 candidate Janella Joy Cuaton is one lady who has big heart for children. That's why her advocacy focuses on helping kids build their confidence through workshops and other worthwhile activities. Long before she competed in pageants here and abroad, Cuaton has already established a special project for children dubbed "Passion Meets Fashion." Don't look now but Rodgil Flores, head of the Kagandahang Flores beauty camp, has revealed that his camp would soon accept male talents for modelling or pageants. John Raspado wins Mr Gay World 2017

John Raspado of the Philippines was crowned Mr. Gay World 2917 during a contest among 21 gay men held in Madrid, Spain last May 10. Raspado also won special awards Best Formal Wear, Best in Swimwear, Best in Interview, Mr. Social Media and Mr. Popularity. First runner-up honors went to Candido Arteaga of Spain; Raf van Puuymbroeck of Belgium, 2md runner-up; Alexander Steyn, South Africa, 3rd runner-up; and Marco Tornese, Switzerland, 4th runner-up. Raspado, 36, has earlier promised to bring home the title. "I will be showcasing a different John Raspado. I have tons of supporters around the world.
