3 ambassadors to join gov't campaign vs HIV/AIDS

Three persons - male, female and trans woman - will join the government's campaign to fight human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) which causes acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS) after they were chosen ambassadors of the LHIVE Free REDvocates Advocacy by the Department of Health (DoH) during a tri-pageant held at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City recently. The winners are: male - Joseph Xavier Pili of Naga City; Kelvin Kai Angala, San Pedro, 1st runner-up; and Jearu Ed Magbuhat, Batangas, 2nd runner-up. Female: Patrixia Santos, of Daraga, Albay; Shane Quintana Tormes, Rizal, 1st runner-up; and Precious Play Neyra, Isabela, 2nd runner-up. Trans woman: Pan Yang (Stefania Cruz Lopez), Rizal; Uly Galagnara, Santiago City, 1st runner-up; and Brigite Salvatore, Sulu, 2nd runner-up.
