An athlete-model who just graduated from the University of the Philippines (UP) in Diliman, Quezon City was crowned Mr. World Philippines 2018 during a pageant held at the Resorts World Manila in Pasay City Oct. 23. Jody Baines "JB" Saliba, 25, of Olongapo City, edged out 15 other male candidates to represent the country in the Mr. World contest which will be held in Manila in March 2019. Saliba graduated with a degree in sports science from UP last July. He played for the UP Maroons Baseball Team when he was still in school. He says he loves sports and has been an athlete since he was six years old. Saliba also loves dogs, wakeboarding, baseball, swimming, and golf.
