Cory tells millennials: 'Think before you post'

Image
Mutya President Cory Quirino has one piece of advice to millennials joining pageants: think before you post. "Be very careful. What you do now, especially for the millennials joining other pageants, what you do today, what you post today, is going to haunt you tomorrow," said Quirino when asked about girls who dream of joining pageants, during a press send-off for Cyrille Payumo at CWC Interiors, Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City. Payumo will represent the Philippines at the Miss Tourism International 2019 pageant in Malaysia on Nov. 8. She left Oct. 23 for the competition. "There are times you are faced with the challenge of reaching your dreams, because of what you did in the past, many pageant organizers, if not most, can be lenient and understanding about those things. But there are pageant organizers that are very strict. And then they have to prepare you for the international competition whose standards are also very strict," said Quirino said. ...
