Actor Arjo Atayde gives update on recovery of parents with COVID-19

Kapamilya star Arjo Atayde and his siblings thanked friends and fans for their overwhelming love and support for the fast recovery of their parents - award-winning actress Sylvia Sanchez and businessman Arturo Atayde - who were tested positive for COVID-19 recently. "Our parents are slowly getting better. Although it’s taking longer than their usual recovery time, we are happy to see them with their spirits still high," said Arjo on Instagram April 1. Award-winning actress Sylvia Sanchez and her husband businessman Arturo Atayde were tested positive for COVID-19. Sanchez made the announcement on her Instagram March 31. She is the third Filipino movie star to test positive for coronavirus. The two other celebrities - Christopher de Leon and Iza Calzado - have been discharged from the hospital. Ara Arida bares goals for her family

Never in her wildest dreams that former Miss Universe 2013 third runner Ara Arida would someday appear in the movies. "Hindi ko akalain na magkakaroon talaga ako ng movie. Actress Sylvia Sanchez has revealed that the on-screen kiss with actor Enchong Dee is one of the highlights of the movie "Nay," an entry to the Cinema One Originals Film Festival 2017. Actress Sylvia Sanchez has said that she and her husband businessman Arturo Atayde have different parenting skills to their children. "Ako kasi yung disciplinarian. S'ya (Art) yung sige lang. Ok lang anak. Pero pagnagkamali ka, problema mo yun. Solusyunan mo yun. Ibang istilo," said Sanchez, during an interview on "Tonight With Boy Abunda" on ABS CBN.
