Vina Morales love-less for one year now

Actress Vina Morales has revealed that she is single for one year now after she broke off with her French boyfriend.

"I honestly it gets lonely once in a while. Of course you want to be with someone. Syempre yung paglalambing, yung mga ganyan, ma-mi-miss mo yan eh," said Morales during an interview on "Tonight With Boy Abunda" on ABS CBN.

Asked why they split, Morales said: "We get along well. Wala kaming problema. We laughed each other. It's just the distance. Hindi talaga nagwo-work pagmalayo sa isa't isa. You never grow as a couple. So that was our problem."

"My work is here. I cannot live there. Haaay, hintay hintay na lang," she said.


Morales, who currently stars in the Kapamilya telserye "Araw Gabi," said that she is excited about her daughter Ceana who just turned 9.

"Excited ako sa mga mangyayari sa buhay nya and her future. What scares me also is yung mga trials na darating sa buhay nya lalo na sa pag-ibig;

"Ako kasi ang dami kong na miss sa childhood days ko kasi 8 years old pa lamang ako nagta-trabaho na ako;

"Right now gusto kong ma-enjoy yung childhood nya. I didn't want her to work. So pagsinasabi nila 'C'mon mag-artista muna sya. Ay hindi!' Magaral muna sya kasi yun ang mga na-miss ko sa  buhay," she added.

Morales, 42, said that her daughter is also tech-savvy.


"Karamihan yata sa mga bata ngayon (tech-savvy). Hindi na mapigilan eh. May time limit naman s'ya. Of course it's also good na malaman nya paano gamitin yung mga laptop, yung mga ganun and she knows how to edit yung mga songs. For her age ha. Paano ba yan anak?;

"So tinuturan pa nya ako. This is how you do it mommy. Pero not so much. It's also bad din (pag-sobra)," said the Cebuana actress.

Morales said that one of her bonding moments with her daughter is going to the gym workout.

"Sinasama-sama ko sya. Hindi naman hardcore na workout kasi. I want her to enjoy kasi mamaya masyado ko syang i-pu-push ayaw ng magworkout;

"Sya naman enjoy naman s'ya. And then pag-ayaw na nya, 'mommy I am tired.'  So okay," Morales said. - ROBERT REQUINTINA
