Will Gerald Anderson finally propose to Bea Alonzo?

Kapamilya star Gerald Anderson has said that he will propose to Bea Alonzo soon although he is not ready to settle down these days.

"Darating yun, wag tayong magmamadali. Darating 'yung araw," said Anderson, when asked if he proposed to Alonzo during their holiday trip to the US, following an interview on "Tonight With Boy Abunda" on ABS CBN.


"May nanghula nga eh (ngayong taon daw). Nag guest ako sa 'Magandang Buhay' at sinabi ko na kapag naramdaman ko na, mas malapit na ako sa marrying age. Sabi ko pag naramdaman ko na, hindi ko na mapipigilan," he said.

Anderson, 28, said that he is still focused on his showbiz career than raising a family.

"Sa edad ko ngayon, 28 na po ako, I mean 28 pa lang ako, sa trabaho ko ang dami ko pang gagawin. Kailangan ko pang mag-ipon. Marami pa akong gustong gawin," he said.


Asked what "hastag #secretplace" was all about, Anderson said: "Nagtrain kami mula sa San Francisco papuntang Denver. Mahilig ako sa cabin, sa forest, sa farm. Kaya nga gusto kong bumili ng farm eh. Gusto ko yung tahimik;

"Nagstart kami sa San Francisco, nanood po kami ng NBA Christmas game. Then nag New Orleans kami. Yung train kasi, yung ang ginawa namin ng tatay ko nung dalawa lang kami. Nung dinala nya ako sa States galing PIlipinas. So parang naulit namin ng dad ko pero syempre mas marami kami, kasama friends ko, kasama si Bea," he said.

Anderson is celebrating his 11th year in showbiz this year. "There's so much to learn pa. Ang dami ko pang kailangan matutunan, sa career, sa personal life ko, sa financial life. If you think na kaya mo na lahat, yun na siguro ang downfall mo."


The actor also said that it would be exciting to work with his former girlfriends Kim Chiu and Maja Salvador in one project.

"It's a better situation from before. Dati kasi hindi talaga nagpapansinan," said Anderson on his current friendship with Chiu. "Sabi ko nga eh it has to be the right project talaga. It has to be something special. Kung paano kami nagsimula, I will always remember that."

On Maja and Kim project, Anderson said: "Just by saying it parang exciting din s'ya eh. Everyone's professional and gusto nila yung trabaho nila. Trabaho din yun. Bakit naman hindi? Makapagbigay saya kami sa tao at excitement, ba't naman hindi?" - ROBERT REQUINTINA
