Rocco Nacino dedicates nursing diploma to parents

Actor Rocco Nacino dedicated his school diploma to his parents after he finally earned his master's degree in nursing cum laude last Nov. 24.

"Still at a lost for words. They say, 'Graduations are for parents, it’s our best way of showing them our gratitude and love by valuing education.' I'm honored to have graduated alongside my batch mates who also kept education as their priority," said Nacino on Instagram.

"I salute all of you, our professors and fellow graduates, who will be our game changers of the future. May this also inspire everyone else to aim high and soar high. This is for you mom & dad. To God be the Glory! - Enrico Raphael Q. Nacino, R.N, M.A.N."


Nacino earlier posted on IG that he would be earning his master's degfree after he successfully defended his thesis.

"Finally, another one checked off my bucket list! Passed my thesis defense and am set to graduate as a cum laude this Friday!" said Nacino on Instagram.

"It's been a crazy 2 years of balancing everything, and now I am almost at the finish line," he said.


Rocco, who recently starred in the movie "Bar Boys," dedicated his achievement to his parents.

"This one's for you mom and dad! It's a different sense of fulfillment when it comes to pursuing education. And now I can finally breathe a huuuugge sigh of relief!

"Thank you to my panel of doctors who pushed me to my limits today, at the end of the day, these people push you because they only want what's best for you.

"Thank you also St. Bernadette of Lourdes college and its staff for being patient with my schedules. I did it! I am now Enrico Raphael Quiogue Nacino, R.N, M.A.N.(Registered Nurse, Master of Arts in Nursing). To God be the Glory!" Nacino said.


Nacino is currently seen on the Kapuso afternoon series "Haplos." He recently made a daring appearance on "Under the Stars" Bench fashion show where he showed his butt to the delight of his fans,

"Here's to a butt-iful week ahead. Reminding everyone to do their squats but training and working hard to achieve something doesn't end here. Always gotta think long term. Had an awesome weekend, now back to regular programming," said Nacino as he posted a sexy photo is his stint on the annual fashion show.

On Nov. 12, Nacino and his girlfriend Sanya Lopez were the recipients of the German Moreno Power Tandem of the Year Award at the Philippine Movie Press Club Star Awards for Television.
