Vietnamese model is Man of the World 2018



A fashion model from Vietnam was crowned Man of the World 2018 during a pageant held at FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan, Metro Manila Saturday night, July 14.

Crowd favorite Cao Xuan Tai of Vietnam edged out 26 other candidates from around the world in the contest that highlights masculinity and responsibility.

Philippine Clint Karklins Peralta, a registered nurse, was named 1st runner up. Other winners were Malta, 2nd runner-up; Czech Republic, 3rd runner-up, and Thailand, 4th runner-up.


Winners of special awards were Philippines, Congeniality, Best in National Costume, World's Choice, and Mister Highland Bali Villas Resort and Spa; Personality, Singapore; Photogenic, Ethiopia; Mongolia, Best in Swimwear; Czech Republic, Best in Resorts Wear; Iran, Man of the World Talent; Vietnam, Best in Casual Wear; Thailand, Best in Formal Wear; India, Fashion of the World; and Myanmar, Best in Advocacy.

Other candidates who finished in the Top 17 were Korea, Guam, Mongolia, China, India, Nigeria, Peru, Puerto Rico, Indonesia and Italy.
