Why K Brosas is proud of her BF

Singer-comedienne K Brosas has admitted that she is in a relationship these days with a non-showbiz guy.

Asked if she has a boyfriend, K Brosas answered on national television and said: "Yes!"

"Tito Boy alam n'yo po ito. You've known me that long. After 12 years, I just committed myself to this guy, non-showbiz, of course. He's a businessman. Chinese. He's watching right now. Hi baby!" said K Brosas during an interview on "Tonight With Boy Abunda" on ABS-CBN.

Asked how long they have been together, K Brosas said: "Ang tagal na namin. Two weeks. Bago lang. Ang masasabi ko lang, eto po walang halong biro, nasa kanya na po ang lahat ng hinahanap nating mga babae katangian sa isang lalaki pagdating sa ugali. I swear."


K Brosas denied rumors that she was also getting cozy with Jex de Castro, a semifinalist of "Tawag ng Tanghalan" singing contest on "It's Showtime" on ABS-CBN.

"Nagpunta s'ya sa book launch ko pero hindi s'ya ang laman ng puso ko ngayon," she added.

K Brosas also said that her daughter Crystal has joined show business.

"Nag-sign up na s'ya with Star Music because she's a singer-songwriter and she's also a G Force dancer," she said.


"Nagpasa na rin sya ng sariling composition sa 'Himig Handog.' Watch out din sa kanyang album and also my album. At mag-be-beauty queen after college," K Brosas said.

When asked to choose between singing and being a comedienne, K Brosas said: "Ang first passion ko talaga is kumanta. 'Yung comedy sumasabay lang." - ROBERT REQUINTINA/TEMPO
