Kenny Filarca in high spirits for Mister National Universe pageant

Mister Philippines Kenny "Kenyong" Filarca led early arrivals of this year's candidates for the Mister National Universe pageant on-going in Bangkok, Thailand.

Filarca, a restaurateur in Ilocos Norte, was in high spirits as he mingled with some of the contestants of the international male pageant at the Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok on Wednesday, June 13.

"I'm excited to be part of this competition. Please pray for my success in this journey," Filarca says.

Aside from Filarca, other contestants who have arrived in Bangkok were Mr India Farhan Qureshi, Mr Laos Arong Ananthavath, Mr Boracay Island Jaydee Boy Abustan CasiƱo, Mr Thailand Natchanon Singlum, Mr USA David Jesse Aponte Acosta and Mr Puerto Rico Jael Calcano.

Filarca says that he hopes to gain more friends in his trip to Bangkok aside of course from bagging the crown for the Philippines.

The banker also says that he has prepared enough for the competition which will held on June 18.

"I want to dedicate my stint in this pageant to my family, my friends, and most of all to the Philippines.  The Filipinos are the best pageant fans in the universe," adds Filarca.
