Jessy backs Angel for FHM Philippines 'sexiest' Hall of Fame

Actress Jessy Mendiola said today, May 20, that actress Angel Locsin deserves to be in the Hall of Fame of FHM Philippines Sexiest Woman.

Mendiola, 24, made the reaction after a follower on Instagram asked her to comment on the possibility of Locsin being in the Hall of Fame of the sexiest list of the popular glossy magazine for men.

"Ok lang. Deserve naman n'ya yun," said Mendiola on IG.

Locsin is currently at No. 2 in the annual poll of the 100 sexiest women in the Philippines for 2017.


Mendiola, who is the reigning title holder in the "sexiest list," is not included in the Top 10 of the partial and unofficial survey.

Locsin won the FHM Philippines title in 2010. Since then, the Kapamilya star has been in the Top 10 of the annual survey.

Mendiola, girlfriend of actor-television host Luis "Lucky" Manzano, also commented: "Carry lang yan. Huwag na tayo mghate."


When she won the title in 2016, Mendiola was bashed by some netizens saying that she does not deserve the title.

Mendiola then said: "My body may not be perfect but that will not stop me from being confident with myself."

Previously, Manzano was in a relationship with Locsin. When they split, Manzano was romantically linked to Mendiola.


Since then, followers of Mendiola and Locsin have been at war on social media.

Manzano and Mendiola have refused to label their relationship.

Locsin is being linked to film producer and businessman Neil Arce.

So far, actress Nadine Lustre leads the FHM online survey. The deadline for voting is on June 1, 2017. - ROBERT REQUINTINA
