Search on for Binibining Pilipinas 2020

The search is on for the next Binibining Pilipinas beauty queens! The Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc.(BPC) made the announcement on its official Facebook page around midnight Dec. 27. So far, no announcement has been made as to how many pageant titles are at stake in the 2020 edition of the most prestigious national beauty contest. To recall, the BPCI and the Miss Universe Organization severed ties after 55 years recently. The Miss Universe Philippines beauty pageant is now an independent body led by beauty queen-businesswoman Shamcey Supsup-Lee. Unconfirmed reports said that the BPCI is in talks for additional pageant titles for the Bb. Pilipinas 2020 pageant. Minus the Miss Universe Philippines title, pageant titles which retained with BPCI are Bb. Pilipinas International, Bb. Pilipinas Grand International, Bb. Pilipinas Supranational, Bb. Alayyza Izzabelle Tolimao of  Koronadal, South Cotabato is keen on competing in another national pageant the second time around. Tolimao, 19, said that she has sacrificed other things just to compete again in 2020. Despite the demands of pageant training, Tolimao said that she has learned how to balance her time for her family and school. Right now, Tolimao is taking up bachelor of science in tourism management at Joji Ilagan International School of Gensan. She is also as school journalist. This teen queen is the reigning Miss JIB IS 2019 of her institution. She also loves volleyball. JAMS Artist Productions successfully held its first ever Year-End Ball at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City together with its 300 models last Dec. 28. Led by CEO/founders of JAMS Artists Production Jojo Flores and Maricar Flores, the candidates were presented to the media wearing their beautiful traditional outfits inspired by Philippine festival of their respective municipality. On Jan. 28, some 300 aspiring models will vie for JAMS Top Model Philippines 2019 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. The Smart Araneta Coliseum opened anew its doors last Dec. 24 to thousands of audiences from the Philippine Army, Philippine Navy, Philippine Air Force, members of the press, charities, children with disability, senior citizens and nearby communities to watch the much awaited All-New Grand China Acrobatic Circus. A day before its debut, The Grand China Acrobatic Circus held a special performance at the Smart Araneta Coliseum giving tributes to Filipino heroes and families. More than a thousand uniformed men spent a day-off with their families at the Christmas show given by Araneta City. Aside from these, the show was also enjoyed by a hundred children with disability from PEDYA Camp, more than 200 senior citizens from Brgy. E. The Philippine National Police Special Action Force (PNP-SAF) commando trainees received a special holiday treat when the Queen of Hearts Foundation, Inc. led by Mitzie Go-Gil visited them at their headquarters at Sitio Bliss San Vicente Magalang in Pampanga last Dec. 24. The Queens spread the joys of the holiday season to the trainees by giving them a surprise boodle fight, gift-giving, and entertaining them with songs. But the entertainment worked the other way around as the Queens were the ones entertained. Yet the commandos were ready. The presented a cultural dance, a silent drill exhibition, rendered songs, group-dancing accompanied by their band and a comedy skit which made the crowd laughing the whole afternoon. iFRANCHISE Business Services Corporation President Krizzia Loyang-Tanabe announced that her company is going global in 2020 as the firm successfully celebrated its 2nd anniversary at Okada Manila in Paranaque City last Dec. 19. "We will expand globally. We already kicked off in Singapore and Dubai and launched the businesses there. We had road shows and we got a lot of franchises already. We already booked road shows in India, China and the US," said Tanabe during an interview moments before the program started. A former overseas Filipino worker, Tanabe was emotional when she recalled her humble beginnings. "I came from Catarman, Northern Samar. At 21, I worked in Singapore in the food and beverage industry.
