John Raspado, partner celebrate 39th monthsary

Newly crowned Mr World Gay 2017 John Raspado and his partner Paolo de Silva celebrate today, May 17, their 39th month-sary as partners.

On Facebook, de Silva called Raspado his "asawa" or husband as he looked forward to meet the newest international celebrity.

"The other day, we talked about our plans together and our future... though we are pushing it behind for now;"

"I am hoping that one day, your next plane ticket to Sydney will be one way;"


"I am very proud of you asawa ko. Love you... Happy 39th monthsary! Looking forward to seeing you soon," de Silva said.

On May 13, Raspado said that his schedule would be hectic in the coming months because of his responsibilities as Mr. Gay World 2017 winner.

Asked if that would affect his relationship with de Silva, Raspado said: "Medyo maapektuhan din ang schedule pero naiintidihan naman nya ang ginagawa ko."


Raspado, 36, said that his partner was not able to see the finals live in Madrid but only watched it during live stream.

De Silva is a Filipino nurse based in Australia.

Raspado said that aside from going back and forth to Madrid during his reign as Mr Gay World, he would also be busy for the local search of Mr. Gay World Philippines.  - ROBERT REQUINTINA
