Sofia Andres admits being 'maldita' but has changed

Kapamilya teen star Sofia Andres has admitted being bully and "maldita" when she was younger but has already changed for the better.

"Naging bully po ako at maldita sa mga yaya namin sa bahay. Pagnaglilinis sya ng bahay gagamitin nya yung mop, tatapakan ko, ganyan. Tapos guguluhin ko yung damit ko uli, tapos aayusin nya uli," said Andres during an interview on "Tonight With Boy Abunda" on ABS-CBN recently.

But the "Pwera Usog" star has stressed that she has changed for the better.

"Pero lumalaki naman po tayo at nare-realize 'yung mga mali natin. Not anymore. promise," she added.

Andres, 18, is romantically linked to Diego Loyzaga, son of actors Cesar Montano and Teresa Loyzaga, now separated.

The actress maintained that she and the actor are just friends.

"Masaya lang po talaga kami pag magkasama kami. We go to the gym together. Food trip kami or sometimes shopping," Andres said.

She added that they do not see every day or every week but they are always in touch.

But lately, Andres said, she has not seen or talked to Loyzaga, apparently because of his problem with his father.

"These past few days hindi po masyado because alam naman natin yung kanyang pinagdaraanan," she said.

Andres said that she is very supportive of Loyzaga as a friend.

Asked how Loyzaga was these days, Andres said: "Getting better. Lagi po akong nakikinig sa mga problema n'ya and sometimes sinasabihan ko s'ya kung ano yung dapat n'yang gawin at sa tingin ko kung ano ang tama. Kasi 'yun ang kailangan nya."

Andres and Lozyaga are set to star in an afternoon Kapamilya teleserye entitled "Pusong Ligaw."

Asked if Inigo Pascual, son of heartthrob Piolo Pascual, really courted her, Andres said: "We're super good friends. Opo. Nanligaw naman." She did not give other details.

Andres has appeared on several movies such as "She's The One," "She's Dating the Gangster," "Relaks, It's Just Pag-Ibig," etc.

Her television credits include "Princess and I," "Maalaala Mo Kaya," "Forevermore," "ASAP," "Luv U," among others. - Robert Requintina/TEMPO
